Concerning number of attempted child abductions in past week

Following attempted child abductions in three cities across Canada in less than a week, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Canadian Centre) is urging parents to talk regularly with their kids about important safety strategies.


Help find sisters missing for three years

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection’s MissingKids.ca program and the London Police Service are asking for the public’s assistance to locate Milan (5) and Asja (9) Johnson, who have been missing for three years. They are believed to be somewhere in Ontario.


A Decade Searching for Lucas

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Canadian Centre) and the family of Lucas Degerness are appealing to the public to come forward with any information about his disappearance or whereabouts. Ten years ago today, at age 14, Lucas disappeared from Prince George Secondary School in Prince George, British Columbia.


May 25th is Missing Children’s Day

Today on International Missing Children’s Day, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection is reaching out to all parents to educate them about the single most effective way to reduce the risk of a child going missing.
